The Albany Mobilizing Committee is a statewide team of students organizing the largest youth day of action in Albany. Members mobilize their schools and communities, lead organizing and storytelling trainings, design creative actions like the Youth Justice Fair, and build real skills in movement-building, strategy, and people power to win change in New York.

In case you missed it… it’s endorsement season, meaning Policy and Political is back in full swing! In the coming weeks we will be crafting questions, conducting interviews and getting to know the candidates who are eager to become our next climate champions up in Albany!Â
After we decide who we’re supporting in their races up to Albany, P+P will help organize door-knocking and phonebanking shifts to ensure that our climate champions win their races and make it up to Albany! No electoral experience? No problem! P+P members will learn everything they need to know to help elect our climate champions!

TREEage is hosting a training series throughout February in the lead-up to our fifth annual Albany Day of Action on March 17th, 2026.Â
Each 90-minute training will be offered two times: once in-person and once virtually. Trainings will cover:
What is state government?
How to tell your climate story
How to organize your community
How to advocate for change to elected officials
In order to participate in meetings with elected officials on March 17th you must attend one of the "How to advocate for change to elected officials" sessions. If you haven't registered for the Albany Day of Action yet, please register HERE.

Join TREEage for the 5th Annual Youth Day of Action in Albany, NY! This March we, alongside 700+ students from across New York, will rally for climate, immigrant, and social justice at the State Capitol. This is an incredible opportunity to use your voice and demand action directly from people in power.Â
You will meet with 100+ state leaders, rally for a more green, just, and equitable future and meet other students passionate about climate and social justice in New York. We can’t wait to see you there!Â
Programming in Albany will be from 10am-4pm, buses have varying departure times and are marked below. Transportation (depending on location), breakfast, snacks, and lunch provided. Please also keep an eye on your inbox for the most updated information.Â
Throughout February, we will be hosting virtual and in-person trainings every week to prepare for the day. You can sign up for all trainings HERE.
